Bac Coefficients Morocco 2026 - FAQ

What are the coefficients for the Moroccan Baccalaureate 2026?

Each Bac track has its own set of coefficients per subject. For example, in SVT the coefficient for Math is 7 and for SVT is 7, while in Math A the Math coefficient is 9. This calculator lists the coefficients side by side with your grade inputs.

How is the Bac general average calculated?

Your general average is a weighted average: each subject grade is multiplied by its coefficient, all products are added up, then divided by the total sum of coefficients.

What is the minimum grade to pass the Moroccan Bac?

You need a general average of at least 10 out of 20 to obtain your Baccalaureate. Below 10, the mention is "not passing".

What are the Bac mentions in Morocco?

The official mentions are: Passable (10-12), Assez Bien (12-14), Bien (14-16), Très Bien (16-18), and Excellent (18-20).

How are the regional and national Bac averages calculated?

The Moroccan Bac general average combines the regional exam score (taken in Bac first year), the national exam score (taken in Bac second year), and the continuous-assessment grade. This calculator lets you estimate your final weighted average once all grades are known.

What are the coefficients for scientific subjects (Math, Physics, SVT) on the Bac?
